UPDATE: Services Set For Keith Greene; Funeral On Monday Morning

This is a terrible and painful loss to our Village. Keith was an amazing chef and a great supporter of the Southampton Historical Museum. He loved to feed people and was incredibly generous with his talents. He will be sorely missed as well for his kind, warm and gentle spirit. Condolences to his family, Schmidt's Market and everyone who knew and loved him.

George C. Lynch Of Southampton Dies January 26

George was a dedicated member of the Southampton Historical Museum and will be sorely missed by the many friends he made through his volunteer work for the Museum, the Village and Town.
He was dedicated to improving the Southampton community using his special talents in landscaping and architectural design. He did not boast about his good works, but they remain as his legacy. He was a good man and his loss is painful to all of us who called him a friend.

While Laurie Collins is a valuable museum staff member, it was volunteer Adrienne Falzon who revived the walking tours. She organizes the speakers during the winter and manages each program.
Many thanks Adrienne for making this summer favorite possible.

UPDATE: Fence Installed At Historic Burying Ground Removed Over Weekend

This is an outrageous desecration of Southampton's most sacred ground established in 1648. The Southampton Historical Museum will not rest until this honored place has been restored and the dirt removed has been analyzed for the relics destroyed during this terrible attack on our heritage.
