You ain't seen nothing yet from this young man, just keep watching! Way to go Julius!" Mar 3, 10 10:15 AM
Third times a charm Paul." Mar 4, 10 1:52 PM
Keep the school. The flagship program, with a casino all but inevitable, should be Hospitality, an industry that is not going away from the East End. Have that as part of an overall business program at the school. Environmental Science, Writing, Hospitality. Having the School linked to SBU left it just as vulnerable as having it linked to LIU, an after thought." Apr 12, 10 9:12 AM
Kudos to Peter DeTore and the Bass Brothers! Well done Paul Bass!" Apr 12, 10 9:16 AM

Woody was a stand up guy and friend from the famed "kickball court" though the adult years. My hopes and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed." Dec 12, 10 10:05 AM
Mike is a class act and a great mentor. Coached by the most famous of high school coaches, Sprig Gardner Mike wrestled on one of the greatest HS teams in history during the steak. Mike has gone on to influence two more generations. His induction into the National Hall of Fame is an honor well deserved." May 24, 11 12:20 PM

Left the old coach too giddy to sleep last night, very nice job boys. Kudos to assistant coaches Neko Gettling and Joe Dosch with much thanks to Julius Angilikus, Isaiah Thomas, Khomari Moses, Franklin Dominguez and Bubba Fisher for coming over and rolling with the big dogs!" Feb 17, 13 11:53 AM

Walk into Southamptons High School Gym, look at all those banners and feel your chest swell with pride. How many of those banners wouldn't be there without Tuckahoe? From my era at least 6 would hang in Westhampton Beach thats only counting men's athletics. Southampton High School was built for 1200 students and in those original calculations that included all of the Tuckahoe students.
Lets get some real numbers and figure this out."

Fascinating-So the Ponquogue USCG Station-with lighthouse was all African-American when Hampton Bays had one of the largest Klan chapters in the north. I bet there are some stories around that.
East Hamptons Maritime Museum is housed in a similar building moved back to Bluff Rd."

There is a very nice village owned piece of property right a across from the Mecator Cooper House that this house would sit nicely on. A fitting place to memorialize one of Southampton's most historical figures.
Oh and cheif1 my grandfather did all the correspondence with the Japanese about Pyrrus Concer over 30 years ago, before the Village put up there plaque at Agawam Park. As an elder at the 1st Presbyterian Church he wondered who was this man who left a Legacy Scholarship at the church. "

I get a kick out of the witty banter back and forth, the current Southampton High School was built for 1,200 students when ALL Tuckahoe students went to Southampton. I was in the first class that went all the way through. The school was a ghost town when all the Tuckahoe kids went to WHB. " Sep 24, 14 10:15 AM
Could be a great win for a lot of student athletes, even better if they can opt out Gym Class in season and into a structured/supervised study hall/study skills class to learn make productive use of their time.
A student athlete who only puts in his practice/game with no extra time allocated to his sport could easily put in 20 hours a week into their sport."
