Riverside Man Charged With DWI Following Two Accidents In Hampton Bays Friday Night

Doesn't matter where it happened, there would be less accidents if there was a light at that intersection. I have seen too many bad accidents happen there, I know someone that could have been killed in accident in that area. A light is needed, according to NY State they monitor and it takes so many fatalities in order for a light, that's real smart.

Centenarian Survives Hit-And-Run Accident In Hampton Bays

I am his daughter-in-law, yes he had a fractured rib but in the scheme of things, not to have any other major breaks and for that matter survive is amazing. " Sep 21, 17 11:59 AM

Thanks Linda. He is doing well, still at WH Care Center but upbeat and getting many visitors which he loves.

UPDATE: County Road 39 Reopened After Three-Car Crash In Shinnecock Hills Forces Lane Closure On

Took me over 1 1/2 hrs to get home from work to Hampton Bays when it's normally 15 minutes. What I don't understand is why the police cannot man all traffic light intersections and direct flow of traffic when accidents happen that close main highways. It's bad enough that the county/state still can't figure out timimg of traffic lights to help traffic flow seasonally and off season, you add a accident it shows you how unprepared we are. You have a police force , use it. " Nov 19, 17 7:20 AM

Shinnecock Nation Leaders Say Signs On Sunrise Are Essential To Tribe's Economic Well-Being

What about our real estate values? Do you actually think that anyone would want to buy our home with an obtrusive 60ft sign that is lit 24/7 in the backyard? I think not. So who's going to make up the difference to us, that's the question that doubt will ever be addressed. Very sad that they or NY State do not think about those that it impacts. It's always about $$$" May 12, 19 10:18 AM
