Lisa Clare Kombrink joins Southampton Hospital's board of directors

Oct 11, 2010 2:58 PM

Attorney Lisa Clare Kombrink of Southampton has become the newest member of Southampton Hospital’s board of directors, the hospital announced this month.

The purpose of the 30-member board is to advance the hospital’s mission and vision of providing high quality health care.

Ms. Kombrink, 54, is a partner at the law firm Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo LLP, where she manages the company’s Southampton office on Hill Street. She has led prayer- and meditation-based retreats for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction as well as stress reduction workshops for lawyers, bankers and other professionals.

“I’m excited about working closely with the hospital as a working member of the community,” Ms. Kombrink said, adding that she is particularly interested in the hospital’s Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute and its emphasis on nutrition and alternative forms of healing, such as meditation and massage.

Lisa is a terrific lawyer and will be a great asset to the hospital board. Since she knows the community very well having served as Town Attorney, Lisa is in a position to bring valuable feedback to her colleagues on the hospital board.
