Police: Scott Disick Had $4,000 Cash Stolen From Briefcase In Kardashian Home

Jul 16, 2014 10:49 AM

Reality television personality Scott Disick told police that someone stole $4,000 cash earlier this month from a briefcase inside the Noyac Road home being rented by the Kardashian family.

Mr. Disick, 31, told Southampton Town Police that the money was taken from an attaché case that was in a bedroom within the North Sea home sometime between 9 a.m. July 1 and 4 p.m. July 4, according to a police incident report filed on July 8.

It’s not clear why Mr. Disick, who has two children with Kourtney Kardashian, one of the stars of the television series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” had the money stored in the briefcase.

The Town Police detectives unit is looking into the theft. Department head Detective Sergeant Lisa Costa did not return multiple calls and emails seeking comment on the investigation.

Ms. Kardashian and her sister Khloé are renting the 8,900-square-foot home on Noyac Road for the summer while filming their latest show for the E! Network, “Khloé and Kourtney Take the Hamptons.”

Mr. Disick is an Eastport native but the police report has his current address listed as being on East 75th Street in Manhattan.

It’s not clear if Town Police detectives have searched the home or identified any suspects.

Southampton Town Police Sergeant Susan Ralph said it was not clear if workers or film crew members would have had access to the room, although she said it generally would be noted in the initial police report.

Along with living in the home on Noyac Road, the Kardashian sisters also are operating a retail store called Dash on Main Street in Southampton Village this summer.

> "It's not clear why Mr. Disick ... had the money stored in the briefcase."

Maybe he likes the liquidity of having that much cash on hand, but it's no one's business why he was storing (or carrying) that much, only that he's reporting it stolen.

Someone needs to stop with the ga-ga coverage of someone just because there are "reality stars" involved! Good grief!

May i ask why this is even noteworthy to write about. Seriously the alleged robbery that Mr Disick reported is something that happens to people every single day. The amts may differ, some more some less but none the less it is nothing out of the ordinary. Ty

A number a burglaries for Scott's partner's family in CA per world news, now this. Inside job? Anyone in family with drug problem? Desperate for money? People are typically victimized / vandalized by someone they know and trust. In each case the alleged perpetrator or perpetrators knew exactly where to find the loot / goods, i.e., entry into homes, location of locked up valuables, combinations to safes. Any news regarding any of these crimes? Suspects? Drug abuse? Family turmoil? Discord? I do not ...more

Bonackers are from East Hampton. Mr. Diksick is from the hamlet of Eastport.

He is not a bonacker. Heavens to Betsy how insulting. :)
