Aug 3, 2017 11:03 AM

Marvin Siciliano-Nunez, who was convicted of six criminal counts on June 14—including felony first-degree rape and first-degree burglary—was sentenced in Suffolk County Criminal Court in Riverside on Wednesday, according to a representative of Suffolk County Court Justice Peter H. Mayer’s chambers.

Mr. Siciliano-Nunez was sentenced to 21 years in prison and 15 years of probation, according to the Suffolk DA’s office.

The 20-year-old Hampton Bays resident, an undocumented immigrant from El Salvador, was found guilty of breaking into a home in Southampton Village and sexually assaulting a young woman who was sleeping in the house while threatening her with a baseball bat last summer.

Mr. Siciliano-Nunez’s attorney David Geller of the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society, noted that he has yet to be informed whether his client would face deportation.
