Jul 16, 2019 12:38 PM

Terrence Leigh Gage of Hampton Bays died after complications of surgery on May 19, 2018. He was 59. A memorial service will be held on July 19 at 5:30 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Southampton.

Mr. Gage grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he attended Wilbraham & Monson Academy. He later moved to Hampton Bays with his family and graduated from Hampton Bays High School. He married Robin Taylor, his best friend, and they started a business, The Donut Dip, before Mr. Gage began his 30-year career serving heating and cooling customers throughout Suffolk County. He was known for his good nature, professionalism, and loyalty.

Survivors said, it was Mr. Gage’s wish that family and friends celebrate his life whenever possible and remember him fondly as a devoted husband, father and “Boppie,” loving brother and uncle, and loyal friend.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Sue Gage; a daughter, Jaclyn Mae DeRosa of Florida; a son, Leigh Taylor Gage of Hampton Bays; grandchildren, Jaiden, Mason, and Laila DeRosa; siblings, Dianna Lynn Gage, William Lynn Gage Jr. (Sybil), Beto Leon Jonson Gage (Cynthia), and Priscilla Faith Arsenault (Michael), as well as numerous family members and friends in Hampton Bays and beyond.
