Rowdy Hall is getting a makeover — Oktoberfest style.

The East Hampton eatery, located at 10 Main St. in the Parrish Mews in East Hampton, will transform into a traditional German beer garden, complete with picnic tables in the courtyard and communal dining tables in the dining room, for the annual Oktoberfest Festival kickoff party on Saturday, September 21, from 3 to 5 p.m.

To the soundtrack of traditional German music, nosh on equally traditional German fare, including fresh-baked jumbo pretzels and bratwurst with mustard, or belly up to the bar for Oktoberfest beer specials — Warsteiner Premium Pilsner, Hacker-Pschoor Oktoberfest and Paulaner Hefe-Weizen, to name a few.

A daily fester preis, or prix fixe, will rotate throughout Oktoberfest, starting at 5 p.m. daily. From Saturday through Wednesday, the entrée will feature Knockwurst, Bratwurst and Bockwurst with German potato salad, sauerkraut and mustard, followed by an Apple Strudel Sundae dessert with crunchy phyllo, rum raisins, apple filling, and vanilla gelato.

The following week, from Thursday, September 26, to Sunday, September 29, try out Wienerschnitzel with herbed spaetzle and gold beets, with a dessert of Black Forest Torte with cherry compote, whipped cream, and chocolate curls. The entrée from Monday, September 30, to Wednesday, October 2, is Kassler Rippchen with potato pancake and warm applesauce, finished off with an Apple Strudel Sundae.

The finale will spotlight Saurbraten with braised red cabbage and root vegetable puree, and German Butter pound cake, lemon cardamom glaze, and Quark ice cream for dessert. Entrees will not be sold a la carte, however desserts are available for $10.
