Police Seek Identity of Woman in East Hampton Larceny

Jun 23, 2015 3:16 PM

East Hampton Village Police are looking for a woman who they say stole a $300 necklace from a women’s fashion store on Monday, June 8, at approximately 3 p.m.

The woman entered the store—police did not identify which store, at the request of store representatives—with another woman and stole the necklace off a glass countertop.

Police released a photograph from the unnamed store’s security system which they said identifies a woman who is wanted for questioning in connection with the incident, asking the public’s help in identifying her. East Hampton Village Police detectives can be reached at (631) 324-1026; all calls will be kept confidential.

As of Tuesday morning, East Hampton Village detectives still have not received any information pertaining to the case.
