  • The Rangers finished their season a perfect 14-0 to win the Majors division of East End Little League this past season. The team included Nathan Perl, Jacob Permakoff, Finn Drake, Cole Dawson, Christian Bruschi, Leo Perl, Ethan MacKay, Luke Hefter, Nicholas Simone, Jack Alford, Liam Brand and Kyle Salerno. Coaches included Virginia McGovern, Bill Dawson, Sean Brand and Keith MacKay. Six of the team's players went to be selected to the league's All-Star team and that included Jacob Permakoff, Kyle Salerno, Finn Drake, Luke Hefter, Christian Bruschi and Liam Brand.<br/><span style='font-style:italic'>Submitted Jul 9</span>
  • An Eagle Court of Honor was held on June 29th, honoring Christopher Gulotta of Hampton Bays.  Pictured are Christopher and William Hughes, who represented the Hampton Bays Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5350.  Christopher’s Eagle project was in honor of Gerard Buckley and erected and planted at Hampton Bays FD Station 1.  Mr. Buckley was a very active community member and scoutmaster, who passed away suddenly last year.
