Awesome!!! As good as it comes on the east end!!! If you want great food proper ettiguette and don't expect it too be cheap in any sense of the word then this is the only spot for you. Don't get me wrong, it's not expensive for what it is - Classic refined and proffessional!!! This is not the coupon shoppers dinner, but somebody who knows a great formal dining experience, this is the only one I've ever had on the the east end that is on the money - the others not even close.
P.S I'm a local :)

Good food, good service. The little things are better than the main servings - the fresh pepper really is, vegetables sides on the main course are crisp and delicate. The steak was good but not great, a wee bit grisly. Incredible wine list and even the house wines are outstanding. Drunken cidiots can be a bit LOUD, but that's true everywhere. Be prepared to pay, you won't feel cheated.

A great treat. Warm atmosphere, great service and the food is always wonderful. I think their dinner service is much stronger than lunch though.

I have also stayed at the hotel and always a great little getaway.

The Hotel is a classic, white table cloth restaurant with a French menu. It's nice to walk into a restaurant and be greeted and treated like a special guest.

This place manages to retain the old-school feeling right down to the pencil-thin mustached bartenders. Once considered expensive (don't get me wrong, it's not cheap) it's menu is now pretty much comparable to everything else out here.

In the summer, make sure to reserve a porch table so you can sip your cocktail and enjoy your fruit de mar in style.
